Business has always fascinated me. I like building things and creating value. At a very young age, I sold my first business—car detailing—to fund my college tuition. In my early career I accumulated 30+ years of C-level leadership experience, mainly with a Fortune 200 company. Eventually, I decided to transfer my corporate expertise to the world of small business. During the past 12 years, I learned how rewarding it is to put together deals and create win-win solutions. I became a commercial realtor and broker and developed systems to make business transactions easier for buyers and sellers. I discovered that most business owners wait until the last minute to value their companies. And when they do, rarely do they know how to use that information to chart a growth path. I established ABN to close that gap and provide judgment-free tools, advisory and education for business owners. Today, I enjoy seeing my clients prosper, transfer that success to others and enjoy the process.
While many people pursue networking, I see greater value in developing what I call connectivity. Much of my success I owe to connectivity—which I define as building and expanding trusted relationships in my local community and beyond. After earning a graduate degree in global management, I became aware of my passion for a broader worldview and how I can help others succeed through strategic connections. With more than 35 years in the financial services industry, I have experienced working with a broad range of securities. I enjoy specializing in serving institutional clients with capital needs. To balance my corporate life, I also thrive as an entrepreneur. During my career, I founded Bellerive Capital Management, eBond.com (an online brokerage firm), and started a hedge fund. I also served as CEO of an innovative St. Louis healthcare technology company that was venture-funded. Affiliated with Ecoban Securities and registered as a FINRA broker/dealer, today I am driven to find the best possible solutions for my clients.
